Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) 2.0 ग्रामीण युवाओं को skill training और placement-linked employment opportunities से जोड़ने वाली केंद्र सरकार की महत्वपूर्ण योजना है। Ministry of Rural Development द्वारा संचालित यह programme ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के गरीब परिवारों के युवाओं को industry-relevant skills देकर sustainable employment और livelihood opportunities से जोड़ने पर focus करता है।

Latest DDU-GKY 2.0 Update

Official PIB backgrounder के अनुसार DDU-GKY ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के गरीब परिवारों के 15 से 35 वर्ष आयु वर्ग के युवाओं के लिए placement-linked skill training programme है।
Social Inclusion Targets
DDU-GKY 2.0 framework में social inclusion के लिए mandatory coverage targets भी निर्धारित हैं:

DDU-GKY 2.0 में Placement की नई व्यवस्था
DDU-GKY 2.0 में केवल training completion के बजाय sustainable employment outcomes पर अधिक focus किया गया है। Revised framework के तहत minimum placement duration को पहले के तीन महीने से बढ़ाकर छह महीने किया गया है।
Framework continuous और non-continuous employment को भी cover करता है, जिसमें wage employment, self-employment और gig employment शामिल हैं। Scheme में one-year post-placement tracking और support का भी प्रावधान है।

October 2026 से DDU-GKY 2.0 Training Batches
25 September 2026 के PIB update के अनुसार DDU-GKY 2.0 के तहत October 2026 से अधिकांश States/UTs में training batches शुरू करने की तैयारी की गई है।
Official update के अनुसार 24 States/UTs में लगभग 70,000 rural youth के लिए 2,015 training batches October 2026 में शुरू होने की expected है। सभी 31 participating States/UTs के लिए 2026–28 के दो साल के period में 9 लाख से अधिक targets allocate किए गए हैं।
