National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग के मेधावी विद्यार्थियों के लिए scholarship programme है। बिहार में NMMS परीक्षा का आयोजन State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Bihar द्वारा किया जाता है।

NMMS Bihar Scholarship Amount
National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme के तहत selected students को ₹12,000 प्रति वर्ष scholarship मिलती है, जो ₹1,000 प्रति माह के बराबर है। Scholarship Class IX से Class XII तक निर्धारित academic और renewal requirements के अनुसार जारी रहती है।

NMMS Bihar Eligibility 2026
- विद्यार्थी संबंधित academic session में Class VIII में अध्ययनरत होना चाहिए।
- Class VII में कम से कम 55% अंक या equivalent grade होना चाहिए।
- SC और ST विद्यार्थियों को minimum marks में 5% की छूट दी जाती है।

NMMS Bihar Income Certificate
Income criteria के आधार पर आवेदन करने वाले विद्यार्थियों को आवश्यकतानुसार सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा जारी Income Certificate देना होता है। माता-पिता की सभी स्रोतों से कुल वार्षिक आय निर्धारित ₹3.50 लाख की सीमा के भीतर होनी चाहिए।
SCERT Bihar की notification में आवश्यकतानुसार Circle Officer या Block Development Officer जैसे competent authority द्वारा जारी Income Certificate की आवश्यकता बताई गई है।

NMMS Bihar Syllabus
Mental Ability Test (MAT)
MAT में reasoning, verbal और non-verbal mental ability, critical thinking तथा problem-solving skills से संबंधित प्रश्न होते हैं। इसमें analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern perception और hidden figure जैसे topics शामिल हो सकते हैं।
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
SAT में Mathematics, Science और Social Science जैसे विषयों से निर्धारित syllabus के अनुसार प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं।
