PM-SETU (Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs) भारत सरकार की एक प्रमुख skill development initiative है, जिसका उद्देश्य देश के Government Industrial Training Institutes यानी Government ITIs को modern, industry-aligned और employment-focused skilling institutions के रूप में विकसित करना है।

PM-SETU Scheme क्या है?
PM-SETU एक Centrally Sponsored Scheme है जिसे भारत के vocational training ecosystem को मजबूत और modern बनाने के लिए शुरू किया गया है। इसका मुख्य focus Government ITIs को ऐसे institutions में बदलना है जहां students को industry की current और emerging skill requirements के अनुसार training मिल सके।

PM-SETU Scheme कब शुरू हुई?

Hub-and-Spoke Model क्या है?
PM-SETU में Hub-and-Spoke model का अर्थ है कि एक upgraded Hub ITI के साथ कई Spoke ITIs को cluster के रूप में जोड़ा जाएगा। Official guidelines के अनुसार एक Hub ITI के साथ औसतन चार Spoke ITIs का arrangement हो सकता है।

PM-SETU के दो मुख्य Components
PM-SETU को दो major components में structure किया गया है।
Component I — 1,000 Government ITIs का Upgradation

PM-SETU में Madhya Pradesh भी शामिल है?
Government की July 2026 update में PM-SETU implementation के अंतर्गत Madhya Pradesh सहित विभिन्न States/UTs का उल्लेख किया गया है।
हालांकि किसी particular Madhya Pradesh ITI को PM-SETU Hub या Spoke के रूप में शामिल किए जाने की जानकारी अलग official cluster/selection announcement में verify करनी चाहिए। इसलिए सभी MP ITIs को automatically PM-SETU upgraded ITI मानना उचित नहीं है।
PM-SETU में 20 लाख Youth का Target
