Rajasthan Jan Aadhaar is a family identification system introduced by the Government of Rajasthan to help residents access eligible government schemes and public services. It provides a family ID and individual member IDs, and can support identity verification, benefit delivery and access to services integrated with the Jan Aadhaar system.

What is Jan Aadhaar?

Jan Aadhaar follows the principle of one number, one card and one identity. After successful enrolment and verification, a 10-digit family ID and 11-digit individual IDs are issued.

What Is Jan Aadhaar Used For?

1. Government Welfare Schemes

Jan Aadhaar can be used to identify eligible families and members for Rajasthan government welfare schemes that are integrated with the system.

2. Direct Benefit Transfer

Eligible cash benefits from integrated schemes may be transferred to the beneficiary bank account after the required verification and scheme conditions are met.

3. Identity and Address Verification

The Jan Aadhaar record can serve as a family and member identity and address document where the relevant service accepts it.

4. Access to Online and e-Mitra Services

Jan Aadhaar details may be required when using integrated online government services or applying through an authorised e-Mitra centre.

5. Family Member Records

The system maintains family details and individual member IDs. Eligible changes and additions can be requested through the prescribed process.

6. Scheme Eligibility Verification

Departments can use the available family and socio-economic information to help determine eligibility for linked benefits and services.

Important: Jan Aadhaar registration does not automatically guarantee a pension, scholarship, subsidy, ration benefit or any other scheme benefit. Each scheme has its own eligibility rules and application requirements.

Documents Required for Jan Aadhaar Registration

Keep the following documents and information ready before applying. The exact documents may vary according to the family member, age, details being entered and verification requirements.
