Minimum Marks Requirement
- जहां M.E./M.Tech qualification prescribed है, वहां minimum 60% marks या 10-point scale पर 6.5 CGPA/CPI आवश्यक है।
- जहां M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech prescribed है, वहां minimum 65% marks या 10-point scale पर 6.84 CGPA/CPI आवश्यक है।

Post Code 01–07 के JRF applicants के पास निम्न में से कम से कम एक qualifying national-level examination होना चाहिए:
- CSIR-UGC NET, including Lectureship / Assistant Professorship
- GATE
- DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER आदि Central Government Departments/Agencies/Institutions द्वारा आयोजित national-level examination

Research Associate level will be determined based on the candidates qualification and experience. HRA is payable at prescribed rates if hostel accommodation is not provided, subject to applicable rules.
Tenure / Contract Period
- JRF: Initially 1 year; extendable based on work assessment and project requirement, maximum 5 years.
- Research Associate: Initially 1 year; extendable based on performance and project requirement, maximum 3 years.
- Project Scientist-I: Initially 1 year or till the project duration; extendable as per project requirement.
- All positions are temporary and project-linked and do not provide any claim/right for regular appointment in DOS/ISRO.
Selection Process
- Online application submission.
- Application screening.
- If applications are large in number, candidates may be shortlisted based on academic record and subject specialization.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview.
- Final selection panel will be prepared based on interview performance only.
