Project Associate-I – Qualification
Candidates should have a relevant postgraduate degree in disciplines such as Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Agricultural Sciences, Agronomy, Genetics and Plant Breeding, as prescribed in the project advertisement.
The project also requires relevant technical/research exposure including areas such as NGS data analysis, programming/scripting and agricultural research depending on the prescribed project requirements.
Project Assistant – Qualification
Candidates should possess B.Sc. in Agriculture or Life Sciences, or a 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology, Computer or Information Technology, along with the project-specific experience and computer skills prescribed in the notification.
Age Limit
- Project Associate-I – Maximum 35 years
- Project Assistant – Maximum 50 years
- Applicable relaxation will be provided as per the prescribed rules.
Emoluments
- Project Associate-I – ₹31,000 + applicable HRA for eligible candidates under the prescribed category; otherwise applicable lower fellowship/emolument rate as per project rules.
- Project Assistant – ₹20,000 + applicable HRA.
